What about graphic novels?

Yes - graphic novels may be logged.

Can I sign up any time?

Yes - you may sign up and log books any time between December 1st through January 7th.  The last date to sign up and log books is January7th.

How do the prizes work?

You are eligible for a Lisle Library District campfire mug once you log a minimum of two books.  Each book logged counts as a virtual ticket for our grand prize drawing.  So, the more books you log, the greater your chances are of winning!

How do the virtual tickets work?

Our Winter Read program is an online program.  Each book that you log is a “virtual ticket.”   We run an electronic randomizer that chooses winners from the entire pool of participants, where each book logged counts as a ticket.

Do I have to read books checked out from the Lisle Library?

We encourage use of the Lisle Library’s collection.  However, you may read your own books, books from other libraries, etc.
